Below you have an extract from the official IACC press release, we will share the new dates of the event as soon as they are known.

The International Anti-Corruption Conference Council and Transparency International announced last week that the 16th edition of the International Anti-Corruption Conference (IACC) planned for 21-24 October 2014, in Tunis, Tunisia has been postponed by the request of the Tunisian government due to recently announced parliamentary elections to be held on 26 October.

The date of the parliamentary elections was not fixed when the Tunisian government accepted to host the event and set the IACC dates. The interim government has now concluded that the elections would put a greater burden on the security services in the run up to the election and that a postponement of the 16th International Anti-Corruption Conference would be in the best interests of all concerned.

The International Anti-Corruption Conference Council met on Friday 25 July to discuss the situation and accepted the proposal of the Tunisian government to postpone the conference for security reasons. New dates, which will not be in 2014, and new venue if so needed will be announced as soon as possible.
